My father used to tell me that If a job is worth doing,

It is worth doing well.

As an adult I learned the rest of the saying as:

And do it as if it's

For the Lord.

As a child I did not realize that this verse is based on a principle from the Scriptures.  I remember the first part as a child but then when you added the second part it took on a whole different meaning.

I think that if I apply this to simplifying my life I should be able to get somewhere quicker.  After all if it's for the Lord then it becomes more important for me to do it.
